Everything worked - WiFi, Ethernet, audio, etc.īut eventually I got around to wanting to go back to my wireless keyboard and mouse from the wired ones I used for purposes of the install. It found each and every one of them and installed it manually. I manually ran an Update Driver for each of them, pointing to the root of the Bootcamp Windows Support folders on the USB stick where I stuck all those files. Specifically, it was missing Base System Device, Ethernet Controller, Mass Storage Controller, Multiple Audio Controller, Network Controller, and PCI Device - all listed under "Other Devices". When I came back up into Windows, several of the drivers it was supposed to install weren't there, as determined by each of them being listed with the ! icon in Windows Device Manager. No apparent issues - it said it finished, prompted me to reboot, and I did so. Got to installing Apple's Windows Support / Bootcamp drivers. Used a couple of the many step-by-step guides online to do this. I installed it to an external OWC 2 TB SSD placed into an OWC Mercury Elite Pro Dual Mini Thunderbolt 3 enclosure.

Need Windows 10 Home to run on an external drive. Mac OS side of the house works flawlessly. Brand new (less than a week old) mid-2020 iMac.
